During the late 1980s and early 1990s, the Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra was the preferred road bike frame among professional teams due to its exceptional craftsmanship and use of Columbus SLX or SPX tubes.
Our model was built with the highly coveted Columbus SLX tubing, a "superbutted" Cyclex steel tubeset designed for professional use and renowned for its helical reinforcements running through the top and downtubes. This limited edition Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra was released to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Eddy Merckx bicycles in 1990. It features a reliable and high performing Shimano 600 groupset and is in its original condition.
The bike has been thoroughly inspected in our workshop and is ready for use. A true icon, it is perfect for daily rides, weekend tours, and impressing any bike enthusiast.
